The company was formed in 1989 to supply the Mooring Industry. At that time we specialised in used chain, our geographic location meant that we were in an ideal position to import second-hand chain from Holland and Belgium where it had been used on the thousands of Inland Waterway vessels found in these countries.
It wasn't long before our customers were asking for other products. We now supply a wide range of equipment to a customer base that includes Trinity House, M.O.D., R.N.L.I., Harbour Authorities, British Waterways, Mooring Contractors, Boatbuilders, Marinas and Chandlers, we quickly became known as the 'one stop shop' for mooring equipment.
Our products are used in various locations, the most prestigious of which is probably the exclusion zone area adjacent the Houses of Parliament on the River Thames. We have exported to countries as far flung as Canada, Chile, Russia and the U.S.A. Our mooring anchors are used to hold the 'Americas Cup' weather reporting buoys on station.
We now stock a huge range of new chains aimed at the Mooring and Leisure Marine industries and yes, we still have good quality used chain available and this can be supplied with Test Certificates. We carry large stocks of all the products that we offer, consequently orders from a single item to a lorry loaded with chain can be dispatched promptly.
As specialist mooring suppliers for almost 20 years we are pleased to offer advice gained from 'hands on' experience. Our fabrication facilities allow us to offer chains with enlarged end links and all other variations. A recently improved rope splicing facility means that we can produce a range bespoke of dock-lines, rope/chain anchoring combinations and mooring assemblies
