Launched in the spring of 2014, ETHRICA is a rookie fashion designer's brand attempting to reinterpret and express African impression of colors and feelings.

Through the design using the textiles named Kitenge/Khanga which are filled with Africa's unique nature, instincts, joy and delight, ETHRICA adds refreshments and vividness to your life.

Moreover, we fight poverty with fashion. The used clothes we gathered and sent to Africa for helping 'poor' them, paradoxically, rises a side effect, cutting down the fashion industry size of Sub-Saharan Africa more than 80% which made lots of people in Africa lost their job.

So, we invest in the education of sewing and design for the supply of jobs in the native Eastern Africa area. The ultimate goal of this investment is aimed at recovery of fashion ecosystem in Africa. Now, in Tanzania, we are producing some of our products, while educating design for African people in Burundi.
