Maarten Bonants is a Dutchman who combines impressive business skills with great viticultural expertise. In 1981, he began to offer his services to Italian wine producers, helping them to export their wines. He chose as the company name Enoteca Nederland, thus embracing both the Italian and the Dutch aspect of his enterprise.

Over the years, a steady growth in the number of countries where Maarten Bonants operated, went hand in hand with serving an increasing number of producers.

Recently, Maarten has retired, leaving a solid company for the next generation. He made Enoteca Nederland to be synonymous with expertise, reliability, efficiency and service.
