ENCORE FILMS was established in 2003 with the aim of bringing quality movies to the audience in the South East Asia region. We released DEATH NOTE TRILOGY which grossed over S$4.4 million in Singapore, and we are the exclusive distributor of Studio Ghibli’s animation classics including MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO, PONYO ON THE CLIFF BY THE SEA and THE WIND RISES for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. We are currently the top distributor for Japanese content in these countries. We also distribute movies in Hong Kong and Macau, and we have expanded our distribution network to Taiwan in 2014.

We have released numerous blockbusters including NONSTOP, JU-ON SERIES, THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM, COLD WAR, ATTACK ON TITAN and DRAGON BLADE.
