High-End Audio Lineage

One of the grand European names from the early days of high-end audio, the introduction of our first amplifiers in the 1970s was quite a sensation. To illustrate, the revered American Audio Critic magazine tested the amplifier in 1976 and wrote:

"Audio freaks - eat your hearts out. This is the world's best sounding amplifier." Audio Critic Magazine

Since these early days, Electrocompaniet's designs have continuously improved and the product range has steadily grown. However, all products are still designed and manufactured in Norway. Our classic product with its unique design has a sound and musicality that has now made us known all over the world.
