The new Norwegian furniture company Eikund is re-launching Norwegian furniture classics that will most definitely impress.

With the presentation of Veng arm chair, designed by Torbjørn Bekken in 1960, Eikund is entering a chapter in the Norwegian design history that has been hidden for too long. The drawing for Veng armchair was found in the old archive of the inventive interior design company Rastad & Relling in Oslo.

Some may have heard of designers like Arne Korsmo and Grete Prytz Kittelsen, but the scope of creativity blooming in this country around the mid-twentieth century is for many an unknown territory. Pulled out into the spotlight again, there is no doubt that these objects fit perfectly into contemporary interiors of today, both in public and private sector.
