You will find our accessible holiday centre at the tip of Djursland, surrounded by woods and beaches and with plenty of space for outdoor activities and rewarding nature pursuits. Our accessible holiday centre is packed with flexible solutions, daily living aids and space to enjoy a barrier-free holiday. The holiday centre is named after HM Queen Margrethe II, who has been the patron of The Danish Multiple Sclerosis Society since 1959.
Dronningens Ferieby was designed by architect Erik Korshagen and built in 1990 after being commissioned by The Danish Multiple Sclerosis Society. Located in Djursland, the holiday centre is near the beach, nestled among woods and heathland, and our aim is to enable everybody to enjoy a barrier-free holiday. You’ll therefore find that our holiday homes, activities and services are brimming with accessible features to make your visit more comfortable.
All our holiday chalets are located near the beach, nestled among woods and heathland, and between the buildings you’ll find a nature playground and exciting trails, with an accessible bathing jetty enabling wheelchair users to get right down to the water’s edge and dip their toes in the Kattegat. Our holiday village has easy access to loads of activities, with countless opportunities for groups, couples and singles alike.
