In the late nineties the two oldest trading houses of the Amsterdam agricultural futures, G. de Vries and W.F. Westermann Futures, merged. As De Vries & Westermann B.V. we operate as an intermediary in the agricultural futures market in Leipzig (EEX), Paris (EEX), London (ICE) and Chicago (CME).

The roots of our company is lying in the "Golden Age". Than the company used to trade in coffee, cocoa, copra and various spices. From the start of the agricultural futures market in Amsterdam, the focus lies on futures trading in potatoes, pork and grains.
