In 1986, our chairman, Ali Subasi, resigned his post as the CEO of Adidas Turkey to create his footwear sales and marketing company. The company had sold most of the major footwear brands of Turkey for almost 20 years.

Darkwood sells over a million pairs of shoes in a leading fashion chain stores and retailers offline and online in more than 30 countries. The 2017 marks the 13th year of Darkwood history and we are proud that our decisive contribution over a decade has made its mark on the quality standard of the footwear industry.
