Sono Carlo Berruti, designer, CEO e presidente della Danber Italia, azienda produttrice di pezzi di arredamento artistico e di design realizzati tramite la curvatura del legno lamellare. L'azienda è stata fondata nel 1922 da mio nonno Carlo Ratti, che, da scultore, artista ed ebanista, ha iniziato a curvare il legno attraverso una tecnica che tuttora utilizziamo e che sta alla base di tutti i miei progetti.

L'attività è stata poi proseguita dai miei genitori Piera Ratti e Piero Berruti che, insieme a mio zio Angelo Ratti, hanno diffuso e commercializzato i prodotti in tutta Italia. Come terza generazione, ho voluto dare una svolta ancora più creativa ed artistica all'impresa, disegnando prodotti dalle forme moderne e facendoli rifinire da pittori e decoratori creando così un connubio perfetto fra arredamento, arte e design. Il tutto svolto interamente a mano, rendendo così ogni pezzo unico ed inimitabile.
