Founded in 1977, under the name of Mechanical Plant of the Chemical Plant, it was created as a supplier of equipments and spare parts for Savinesti Chemical Plant.

In 1991 was registered, under the 1213/20.11.1990 government law, as a joint stock company and changed his name in COMES Savinesti (Mechanical Company for Special Equipments).

Following up the positive evolution after the buy-out and modernization investments, COMES become one of the main Romaine suppliers for heat exchangers, pressure vessels ( tanks, reactors, boilers, etc. ), fin tubes heat exchangers, columns, hot water/steam boilers for chemical, petrochemical and nuclear industry.

In present, our firm has a paid-up capital in value of 1,162,022 Ron, with 190 employees and is spread over an area of 57,191 sqm.

COMES products are manufactured according to Quality System Management, Environmental System, Occupational Health and Safety System, the processes being controlled and following continuously their effectiveness, in accordance with the requirements of applicable standards ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2005 and OHSAS 18001:2008.
