The Claydon family have been farming the heavy clay lands of Suffolk since the early 1900s. Jeffrey and Frank Claydon are the third generation to be farming the land now under the E.T. Claydon and Sons family partnership name; the brothers have been farming since 1970 and still farm the land to the present day.

Claydon Drills all use the same Patented Seeding Technique which allows farmers to establish many different types of crops direct into the stubble, mintilled or fully cultivated soils obtaining fantastic results. Essentially if it can be air-seeded and it will fit down the pipes, you can sow it with a Claydon.

Customers have established Wheat, Barley, Oats, Oil Seed Rape, Linseed, Maize, Clover, Peas, Beans, Grasses, Radish, Phacelia, Mixed Cover Crops and many more small seeds into all soil types and cultivationsituations in both autumn and spring drilling seasons. All machines have minimal moving and wearing parts making servicing quick and affordable.
