Lara, who is of Croatian decent, began her career as a young model in Milan, Italy. Subsequently, she graduated in Public Relations and Advertising at the International University of Languages and Media (IULM). After completing her studies, Lara returned to her first love, the fashion industry, embarking on a career in Public Relations.

In the meantime, she also met the architect and designer Claudio Bellini who would become her husband. Creative and inquisitive, Claudio and Lara love to travel, see the world, and sample new cultures. It was while they were touring the Far East in 2013 that the adven­ture which would become the Lara Bag accessories collection was born.
