At the end of the nineties, the idea to develop an MRI analysis tool bloom in the Bourguignon country, from the shared interests of Dijon university hospital physicians and medical imaging researchers.

After long academic research and university hospital alpha testing period, the physicians demand and the maturity of the project lead to the operational phase of QIR - Quantified Imaging Resource software, and the creation of CASIS - CArdiac Simulation & Imaging Software.
