C-Feeds business is based on 25 years' world leading experience in the breeding of various microalgae and zooplankton species at SINTEF Fisheries and Aquaculture.

This includes a massive amount of work with various breeding techniques and enrichment methods/diets, and with a large focus on water quality and microbial control, using new technology and automation of processes.

This is essential to achieving cost efficient production. This technology and knowhow was fundamental when C-Feed was established in April 2014.
