Bluestone Brewing is a family run brewery tucked away in rural North Pembrokeshire, Wales. Our pipe dream of owning a Micro Brewery has actually become a reality and it's awesome seeing Bluestone growing stronger every day.

We brew our ales from big bold ingredients in the rough and rocky foothills of the Bluestone mountains to create a quality beer that's big on flavour and big on attitude.

As old as the Hills
The new 10 barrel brewery is situated on Tyriet Farm in the Preseli Hills of North Pembrokeshire. The buildings, which are over 200 years old, were previously used as a dairy, stables and only 5 months prior to opening our doors as brewery, new born lambs and calves were being reared in them!

Rock solid ale
The name Bluestone Brewing Company is derived from the local stone that the buildings were built from many years ago. The bluestone is probably most famous as the Dolerite rock blocks, which were somehow transported 250 miles to Stonehenge over 5000 years ago.

Come well and fine water
The water we use for brewing filters down off the Preseli Mountains, through the organically farmed land at Tyriet, and collects in a well at the foot of the hills. As beer is 98% water, the quality of Bluestone water gives our beer a purity unique to this traditional brewing area of North Pembrokeshire... and after all there is always plenty of water falling from the sky over West Wales.
