Jacek Gawłowski - owner and Bauta CEO, loudspeaker designer and constructor, a Grammy winning audio engineer with 25 years of experience. Educated in London, England, he started his professional career as a recording engineer and has become one of the most sought after mixing and mastering engineers with international based clientele. His credits include nearly 3000 albums mastered.

Jacek won the prestigious Grammy Award for mixing Randy Brecker plays Wlodek Pawlik's Night in Calisia in the Best Large Jazz Ensemble category. After many years of research Jacek made an attempt to build a loudspeaker system of his dreams.

The idea came from the fact that none of the loudspeakers available on the market were satisfactory to him. In fact most audio systems have been compromised in design and construction on too many levels. Therefore, Jacek put an extra effort in design and construction of the revolutionary Bauta loudspeaker system. Its visual appearance pays tribute to the legendary venetian carnaval mask and outfit which became an inspiration for the Bauta line of loudspeakers.
