Arnoremmen was founded in the early 1940s, when Arne Norman from the Swedish province of Dalarna realised how difficult it was to tighten leather straps as the holes were seldom located where they should be. He commissioned construction of a tool for a new buckle, what became known as the ”Swedish buckle”, and started to assemble self-locking buckles on straps.

Arno-Remmen has over 70 years' experience of manufacturing and selling lightweight lashing straps. Over the years we have also developed the range to include a number of products for more heavy duty lashings, as well as a complete range of lifting products.

Something missing from the basic range? No problem! We can weave, cut and sew the straps just as you need them, and also adapt all chains and wires.
