The waters of the Eildon Pondage adjacent to the Eildon township will be the home of the Eildon Big Fish Challenge Competition plus a Food & Wine festival presentation that will be held on the third Saturday each October. The event is sponsored and organised by the local Alexandra Events committee.

The Eildon Big Fish Challenge is all about community. Organised by a volunteer committee for the community, with all benefits of the day returned to the community. EBFC is proud to contribute our casting competition proceeds each year to the McGrath Foundation in support of the Foundation's mission to raise money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia and increase breast awareness in young women.
