aerodyn engineering has been founded 1997 to hold and use all patents of the inventor and physicist Sönke Siegfriedsen. As one of the leading engineers in the wind business he started already in the early 1980s the development of turbines and thus the long experience and innovative ideas let him become one of the founder of the commercial wind turbine business.

Meanwhile several hundred patents are in the companies knowledge database. In addition to this function the SCD Technology as a new and highly innovated project become part of it. Currently the major project is the development of the SCD Technology turbines in different sizes for different ambiences and applications. The first set of licenses have been sold to one of the leading Chinese windpower company Mingyang Wind Power in 2008. A productive partnership grew since then for the emerging domestic Chinese market.

Today - with all the learning and experience of a challenging project – different licenses for the production of 3MW, 6MW and 8MW can be bought. aerodyn engineering supports the entire set up process from supplier selection, trainings up to final commissioning. The design office has a variety of different development engineers and furthermore a hugh network of long term partners.
