Accelerated Freeze Drying Company Ltd. was set up in 1986 in collaboration with Nissin Foods Limited, Japan for processing of freeze dried ingredients for the international food industry. This was the first freeze drying operation in India. AFDC has two state of the Art manufacturing facilities in Cochin, Kerala and Bangalore, Karnataka. Cochin processes Seafood, Poultry and Spices for the instant food industry while Bangalore processes vegetables, Spices and Culinary herbs for the food and flavouring industry.

With processing capabilities located around the worlds best and most prolific spice growing areas while the culinary herbs are grown organically in our controlled contractual farms. Seafood is brought directly from the harbours and cleaned and processed in our own facilities. AFDC has access to the highest quality ingredients and monitors and tests the raw materials before processing.
State-of-the-art Processing - Both of AFDC's facilities each have over 40,000 sq. ft. production facility that are certified with all international accreditations including BRC, USFDA and FSSC 22000. The facilities are also equipped with all utilities like 100% stand-by power generation, effluent treatment, IT-enabled production and operations management systems
