The music publishing company A-TEMPO VERLAG was founded in 1993 as one of the first private music publishers in the Czech Republic. We are among the leading music publishers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and also Eastern Europe and we work with a global scope of activity. We are engaged in the music publishing business also in Hungary, Poland, the former Yugoslavia (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and other republics) and in Austria.

In four of these countries we are direct members of the authors´ protecting and collecting societies which enables us to get a closer view into the copyright area in those countries and to provide a higher protection for the writers and catalogues we represent. In the Czech Republic this is the society OSA (Ochranný svaz autorský k dílum hudebním), in Slovakia SOZA (Slovenský ochranný sväz autorský), in Hungary the society Artisjus and in Austria AKM/Austromechana.
