All Meluka Honey is proudly produced on our ‘Jendale’ old growth tea tree plantation, located in the heart of the pristine Bungawalbyn Valley in Northern NSW.
We take great pride in protecting this unique and stunning location which is home to a diverse bio-network of rainforest wetlands and the birthplace of our wild-crafted Melaleuca Alternifolia Tea Trees. These very special mother trees are more than 1,000 years old and one of the reasons our thriving bees are producing honey that is superior in both taste and quality.
Quality honey is a direct result of beehive health. The hive is the bee’s collective immune system. When the bees harvest from our wild-crafted Melaleuca Alternifolia Tea Trees and native bush on our property, they are building healthier hives and producing more potent and beneficial honey. Meluka Honey contains major bioactive antioxidants and phenolic compounds with a concentration of flavanols, other phenols and glycosides. Our honey also has methylglyoxal and minor quantities of monoterpenes. For healthy organic honey that has real medicinal benefits, try the honey from Jendale.
