Notre histoire 1898 – 2018 | 120 ans

George C. Goodfellow fait ses débuts dans l’industrie du bois en 1898. Quatre ans plus tard à peine, la première cour à bois de la société Goodfellow voit le jour à Montréal. Cherchant à exploiter de nouveaux marchés, Goodfellow réussit à établir une solide relation avec un important utilisateur de bois de l’époque : l’industrie de l’automobile pour les châssis et les tableaux de bord.

Vers la fin des années 40, Charles Goodfellow prend les rênes de la compagnie et les passe à son frère George C. en 1970. À la fin des années 80, le fils de Charles, Richard assumera ce rôle à son tour et dirigera la compagnie jusqu’à sa retraite en 2014. Patrick Goodfellow, le fils de Richard, est maintenant le nouveau président alors que la compagnie se dirige vers son 120e anniversaire. Il est entouré d’une équipe expérimentée partout au pays.
