The first disposable bamboo fiber straws that are friendly to the planet Earth.
PLASTIC-FREE TABLEWARE
Starting in the first quarter of 2020, more environmentally-friendyg disposable products will be available.
01. MATERIAL
Bamboo is a sustainable source of material due to its fast growth.
There are about 185,000 hectares of bamboo forests in Taiwan, and around 11,000 hectares of bamboo would be needed to cover the worldwide consumption of straws.
02. MANUFACTURE
"Dry forming is a unique patented manufacturing process." This technoloy does not require any chemicals and therefore no production phase causes water and environmental pollution.
By comparison, paper straws are popular on the market today, but the pulp production process results in significant environmental burdens despite the questionable recycling process.
03. USAGE
BAMBOO straws are stable in liquid for up to 24 hours. They don't change their properties and don't affect the taste of the drink. Temperature resistance: -20 ° C to +100 ° C.
Pulp products, such as paper straws, absorb water and easily deform in water and beverages. To increase their resistance, more dense material or plastic foil is used.
04. DISPOSAL
BAMBOO straws can be disposed of as normal waste and they decompose in 45-90 days in the natural environment and water.
Decomposed straws return to the environment and work as fertilizer in the soil.
